COME ON LA...........APOLOGISE....
Who actually knows the meaning of an apology...or (simpler version) sorry? According to the dictionary, deffinition of sorry/apology:
1. feeling regret, compunction, sympathy, pity, etc.: to be sorry to leave one's friends; to be sorry for a remark; to be sorry for someone in trouble. 2. regrettable or deplorable; unfortunate; tragic: a sorry situation; to come to a sorry end. 3. sorrowful, grieved, or sad: Was she sorry when her brother died? 4. associated with sorrow; suggestive of grief or suffering; melancholy; dismal.
Guess many people do not know that. They just say sorry to feel like the bigger person. SO WHAT, really?
People with higher status, somehow, usually think that there's no need to apologise to people with a slightly lower status. (If u have a higher status, use it to everybody's advantage la!) Why do you think the Tamil Tiger's are creating a huge war?Why do you think GWB is likely to cause the next world war?Have they apologised?Apparently,NO!..coz u noe why..."We r too great to say sorry...people will understand"
Only if these people actually knew the meaning of it and used it appropriately. They would be a powerful bunch of people. Sorry can fix most anything...if you use it well.Let's say...ooh ooh ooh...your gf/bf....if u had done smth wrong...and you know that person is kinda dependent on you and is pissed or upset...saying n showing that u r sorry will solve it! (Well, i think it does)
Higher staus, does not give you the right to think so highly of youself...it gives u the oppurtunity of being a person who knows not only how to take but to give too.Wouldn't that be amazing??PEACEFUL WORLD...ALL THE TREES AND FLOWERS WOULD SING WITH US...IT COULD ALL BE WONDERFUL....if u just stop being so ignorant!!!!!!
